We are looking for businesses, soletraders and self-employed people across the UK who want to grow & scale their operations but are lacking the funding or the confidence to do so. Utilising the UK Kickstart scheme we can purposefully deploy employees into your business to increase productivity and profitability at zero cost to your organisation.

Recent studies show that over a quarter of business owners put in 7 or more hours of “overtime” a week and for the majority, this is unpaid. One in 5 have missed family time or key school activities like school plays or sports day to finish work and more than half continue working once their children are in bed. Grow Inspires has a unique, sustainable and cost-free solution.

FULLY FUNDED EMPLOYEES

The Kickstarter Program pays 100% of the relevant National Minimum Wage for 25 hours a week, associated NI and auto enrolment contributions.

SET UP & TRAINING GRANT

For each job placement the qualifying employer receives £1500 towards setup, support and training costs. Kickstart program is not an apprenticeship scheme, but participants may move on to an apprenticeship at any time during or after their placement.

When COVID hit we knew we needed to adapt to a new way of working and subsequently we moved a lot of our business online, which has proved to be very successful. Even with this success, it’s a difficult decision to invest in expansion and taking on more staff given the uncertainty that surrounds us, however Kickstart has enabled us to expand with none of the risk and none of the cost! – ADAM H

For many years I have been working as a freelancer and just recently I decided to launch my own company. I hadn’t actually considered utilising the Kickstart program until Grow Inspires bought it to my attention, partially because I thought I wasn’t eligible, given that I’m considered a startup as my company is less than a year old. Now I am taking on 3 people to support with my creative marketing efforts and administration. Grow Inspires are working with me to source some fantastic candidates and are able to support the admin side of the program in terms of providing a PAYE service (which I can’t currently facilitate myself). AGGREGATE SERVICE

We aggregate the job placement opportunities and submit the bid for funds as well as acting as the intermediary with the DWP. Grow Inspires is approved by DWP as a Representative for the South West.

EMPLOYEE TRAINING

The scheme requires that staff receive employability training. If you are unable to offer this, we can do it for you. We have been working with the Job Centre for several years now.

EMPLOYER SUPPORT

From recruiting, inducting and supporting you to delegate the right tasks to the new employee, we can also help you work out how much they are contributing making their value much more transparent.

PAYROLL MANAGEMENT

Employees under this scheme must be paid through PAYE. If you don’t run your own payroll, we will be happy to do it for you including claiming funds from DWP and completing all reporting to HMRC.
